Senior Software Engineer in Test

Key Responsibilities

• Preparetest plans, test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases based on business requirements.
• Develop, execute, and maintainmanual and automated test suites.
• Design and maintain UI automation frameworks usingPlaywright with TypeScript/Java.
• Build and maintainREST Assured-based API automation frameworks.
• LeverageAI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, or similar tools) to improve productivity and automate test development.
• Implement and utilizeAgentic AI workflows for intelligent test generation, test maintenance, self-healing locators, and automated test execution.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, End-to-End, API, and Performance Testing.
• Executeload and performance testing using JMeter.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through closure.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Required Skills

• 4–7 years of experience in Software Testing.
• Strong experience inTest Planning, Test Strategy, Test Case Writing, and Test Execution.
• Hands-on experience inManual Testing,Bug Reporting, andDefect Management.
• Strong experience withPlaywright Automation using TypeScript.
• Experience withAgentic AI workflows for test automation and AI-assisted software testing.
• Proficiency in usingGitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools for automation development and productivity enhancement.
• Strong proficiency inJava.
• Experience inREST API Testing and API Automation using REST Assured Framework.
• Hands-on experience withTestNG andMaven.
• Knowledge ofJMeter and Performance Testing concepts (Load, Stress, Volume, and Scalability Testing).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred).
• Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Exposure to Allure/Extent Reports and test reporting frameworks.
• Understanding AI-driven test generation, self-healing automation frameworks, and intelligent test analytics.
