About the Role

We are looking for aSenior Software Engineer – Backend with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in designing and building scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise inGolang and hands-on experience withSystem Design, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and MySQL. You will be responsible for designing backend services, solving complex engineering problems, and building systems that can scale with business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintainscalable and high-performance backend services using Golang.
• Own backend components/services end-to-end, from design and development to deployment and production support.
• Participate insystem design and architecture discussions and make appropriate technology and design decisions.
• Design and implementREST APIs and distributed backend services.
• Work withMongoDB and MySQL for data modeling, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Build and maintain search and indexing solutions usingElasticsearch.
• Design and implement event-driven architectures usingKafka.
• Identify and resolve performance, scalability, reliability, and production issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and production-ready code.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, Data, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to improving the team's engineering standards.
• Take ownership of technical problems and drive them to resolution.

Required Skills

• 4–6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience withGolang.

• Good understanding of concurrency, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with production systems and troubleshooting complex issues.

Good to Have

• Experience working withAWS/GCP/Azure.
• Experience withDocker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with observability tools such asDatadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar.
• Experience building highly available and fault-tolerant systems.
• Experience working in a high-scale consumer/product environment.
