Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test ads software, optimizing the performance of ads frontend interfaces.
• Resolve JavaScript and layout cross-browser and compatibility issues.
• Develop and maintain the runtime and compilation engines of the frontend framework to provide a unified code foundation and style for advertising technologies.
• Identify inefficiencies in organizational collaboration and develop tools to improve productivity.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of technical solutions.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment.
• Mentor junior software engineers and interns

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field, and 5 years of related work experience. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept an additional 2 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

• Designing and implementing large-scale, distributed online software services using Java, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python;
• Designing and implementing User Interfaces and scripts to automate common flows using HTML, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby;
• Maintaining and debugging software services;
• Working with cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical requirements;
• Using agile methodology for the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC);
• Designing and implementing software service architecture to support high throughput and fault tolerant services; and
• Using Unix or Linux operating system.

Type: Full time, 40 hours/week

Location: San Jose, CA

Salary Range: $218400 - $387600 per year
