Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with 5–8 years of hands-on development experience in C#, .NET, Python, production support, and build/release management.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a rapid, iterative application development environment, taking ownership from development through production deployment and support. The candidate should also have practical experience using AI-assisted development and vibe coding techniques to accelerate prototyping, coding, debugging, testing, and documentation while maintaining appropriate engineering and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and .NET.
Develop automation, utilities, APIs, and integration components using Python.
Participate in end-to-end application development, from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Work in a rapid and iterative development model, incorporating stakeholder feedback and evolving requirements.
Develop and consume REST APIs and web services.
Follow secure coding, code review, testing, and development best practices.

Production Build & Support

Take ownership of application builds, releases, deployments, and production validation.
Support production applications and troubleshoot application, integration, and performance issues.
Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
Work closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure reliable production releases.
Contribute to build and deployment automation and CI/CD pipeline improvements.
Maintain appropriate technical documentation, deployment procedures, and support runbooks.

AI-Assisted Development & Vibe Coding

Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or comparable GenAI development tools.
Experience with vibe coding / AI-assisted development, using natural-language prompts and iterative AI collaboration to rapidly create prototypes, application components, scripts, and solutions.
Ability to review, validate, refactor, test, and secure AI-generated code before introducing it into production.
Use AI tools to improve developer productivity in areas such as code generation, debugging, unit testing, documentation, code understanding, and automation.
Identify opportunities to incorporate AI capabilities into existing applications and engineering workflows.
Maintain engineering discipline while leveraging AI for accelerated development.

Required Technical Skills

5–8 years of software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with C#.
Strong experience with .NET / .NET Core.
Good programming and scripting experience with Python.
Experience developing REST APIs, web services, and application integrations.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Experience with Git/GitHub or similar source-control platforms.
Hands-on experience with production builds, deployments, release management, and application support.
Experience troubleshooting complex production issues and performing root-cause analysis.
Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Experience working in Agile and iterative development environments.

AI Skills

Practical experience with Generative AI and AI-assisted software development.
Experience using tools such as GitHub Copilot or equivalent AI coding assistants.
Familiarity with prompt engineering and vibe-coding techniques for accelerating software development.
Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, performance, maintainability, security, and production readiness.
Understanding how AI APIs/services can be integrated into enterprise applications is preferred.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
Exposure to Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD technologies.
Experience with Docker/containerized applications.
Familiarity with application monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
Experience supporting business-critical enterprise applications.
Exposure to modern application architecture, microservices, and cloud-native development is beneficial.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of applications through the complete development lifecycle.
