Job Title: Senior SDET – ETLPosition SummaryEnsure quality, accuracy, and reliability of ETL processes and data pipelinesDesign and implement automated testing for data transformation and migrationWork closely with data engineers and business teams to resolve data quality issuesImprove data pipeline performance through scalable test frameworksKey ResponsibilitiesReview requirements, specifications, and technical designs for testabilityDefine and implement test strategies for ETL and data workflowsPlan, prioritize, and execute testing activitiesBuild and maintain ETL automation frameworksDevelop and execute automated test scriptsValidate data transformation, migration, and integrityIdentify, log, and track defects through resolutionPerform regression testing and root cause analysisCollaborate with cross-functional teams on system requirementsTrack QA metrics (defect density, test coverage, etc.)Continuously improve testing processes and toolsMentor and support junior team membersRequired Qualifications8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in ETL/Data TestingStrong experience in ETL testing and automation framework developmentHands-on experience in Python and PySpark (mandatory)Advanced SQL skills with large-scale data handling experienceExperience with ETL tools like InformaticaHands-on experience in AWS cloud environmentsExposure to test automation and DevOps practicesExperience managing delivery priorities and team coordinationStrong communication skills for business and cross-team collaborationPreferred SkillsExperience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop ecosystem)Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
