Zolon Tech Inc. (Zolon) supports the Department of Homeland Security (Client) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) on the Digital Application Support Services (DASS) program, which operates, maintains, and enhances Client digital platforms including the Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN), Web Content Management as a Service (WCMaaS), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Digital Communication Platform. Zolon is seeking aSenior Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain applications supporting HSIN, Client's primary information-sharing portal serving more than 100,000 users across 1,700 organizations.

Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy new features and enhancements for HSIN applications.
Maintain and troubleshoot HSIN components, including Drupal/PHP sites, Java and .NET applications (including HSIN Exchange), Moodle, and Adobe Connect integrations.
Develop and maintain APIs and integrations with other Client systems.
Write unit, integration, and regression tests and support user acceptance testing.
Prepare deployment packages, release notes, and rollback plans across development, test, staging, and production.
Provide Tier 2/3 production support and incident resolution.
Perform code reviews and mentor mid-level developers.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum of seven (7) years of software development experience.
Strong experience with two or more of: PHP/Drupal, Java, .NET/C#, JavaScript/jQuery.
Experience with MySQL, Apache, Red Hat Linux, Git, and Atlassian Jira.
Experience developing in AWS cloud environments using Agile methodologies.

Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Moodle, Adobe Connect, or Adobe Media Gateway.
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of Section 508 accessible development

Location:Remote/telework, subject to Government approval. Primary Government work location is Client, Springfield, VA.
Schedule: Core hours 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. ET, Monday–Friday; occasional after-hours support for incidents, releases, and emergencies.
Clearance:Client Public Trust (suitability/Entry on Duty); U.S. citizenship required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Client Public Trust suitability determination.
