Job Description: Senior SFCC Developer (Architect Experience – Hands-on)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilledSenior Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer witharchitectural experience and strong hands-on coding expertise. The ideal candidate will play a dual role—driving solution design and architecture while actively contributing to development and delivery.

This role requires deep expertise inSFCC (B2C Commerce), multi-site implementations, integrations, and performance optimization, along with the ability tomentor teams and collaborate with stakeholders across onshore/offshore models.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

• Define end-to-endSFCC solution architecture for scalable and high-performance eCommerce platforms.
• Leadtechnical design discussions and create architecture artifacts (HLD, LLD, integration design).
• Ensure adherence toSFCC best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
• Design and implementmulti-site, multi-locale, and multi-currency solutions.
• Evaluate and recommendintegration patterns (REST APIs, OCAPI, SCAPI, middleware).

Hands-on Development

• Actively contribute tocoding, debugging, and feature enhancements in SFCC.
• Develop and customize:
  • SFCC pipelines/controllers
  • ISML templates
  • Jobs & scripts
  • SFRA-based storefronts
• Implementthird-party integrations (payment gateways, OMS, ERP, CMS, marketing tools).
• Optimizeperformance, caching strategies, and page load times.

Team Leadership & Delivery

• Mentor developers and conductcode reviews ensuring quality and maintainability.
• SupportAgile/Scrum delivery, including sprint planning, estimation, and backlog refinement.
• Collaborate withproduct owners, business analysts, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Driveoffshore/onshore coordination for seamless delivery.

Quality, Performance & Compliance

• Ensureapplication performance, scalability, and security compliance.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and debugging strategies.
• Supportproduction deployments, release management, and incident resolution.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• 6+ years of experience inSalesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware).
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
  • SFRA architecture
  • JavaScript (server-side + client-side)
  • ISML, controllers, pipelines
• Experience with:
  • OCAPI / SCAPI APIs
  • Custom cartridges development
  • Job framework & root imports/exports
• Integration experience with:
  • Payment systems (Adyen, CyberSource, etc.)
  • OMS / ERP (e.g., SAP)
  • Middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi)

Architecture Expertise

• Proven experience designingenterprise-scale eCommerce solutions.
• Knowledge of:
  • Microservices-based architecture
  • Headless commerce (composable architecture)
  • API-first design principles
• Experience withmulti-brand, multi-region implementations.
