Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior ServiceNow CMDB Architect to define and lead the overall ServiceNow architecture roadmap aligned with enterprise objectives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, CSDM, and ITOM, along with strong experience designing enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations, integrations, governance frameworks, and platform architecture.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Define and lead the overall ServiceNow architecture roadmap aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Design scalable and sustainable solutions across ServiceNow modules, with a focus on Discovery, CMDB, CSDM, and ITOM.
• Establish CMDB governance frameworks, data models, reconciliation strategies, identification rules, and data quality standards.
• Drive enterprise-wide adoption of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and ensure alignment with ServiceNow standards.
• Architect and oversee implementation of ITOM capabilities, including:
  • Discovery
  • Service Mapping
  • Event Management
  • Cloud Discovery
  • Operational Visibility
• Design enterprise integration architectures using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, and MID Servers.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development, administration, and implementation teams.
• Review solution designs, code quality, and platform configurations to ensure adherence to architectural standards.
• Lead architecture workshops with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and leadership.
• Ensure platform scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Define platform governance, development standards, and release management processes.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Infrastructure Teams, and Service Owners to improve operational visibility and service health.
• Support platform upgrades, transformation initiatives, and ServiceNow roadmap planning.

ServiceNow Architecture & Platform Expertise

• Strong experience in ServiceNow solution and platform architecture.
• Deep expertise in:
  • ServiceNow Discovery
  • CMDB Architecture & Governance
  • Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
  • ITOM Suite
  • Discovery
  • Service Mapping
  • Event Management
  • Operational Intelligence (preferred)
• Experience designing enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.

Integration & Automation

• Strong experience with:
  • REST APIs
  • SOAP Web Services
  • Integration Hub
  • MID Servers
  • Third-party monitoring and infrastructure integrations
• Expertise in workflow and process automation.

Technical Leadership

• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and best practices.
• Ability to mentor developers and administrators.
• Experience conducting architecture reviews and design governance sessions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Platform Development Knowledge

• Working knowledge of:

ITSM & IT Operations

• Strong understanding of:
  • ITIL Framework

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 8–12 years of overall IT experience.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale ServiceNow transformation programs.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow architecture, CMDB, Discovery, CSDM, and ITOM.
• Strong enterprise integration and platform governance experience.
• Excellent technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery
• Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM
• Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – Preferred
