Summary:
The ideal candidate is a hands-on analytical scientist with strong HPLC and small-molecule pharmaceutical experience, a solid foundation in analytical method development and testing, and the ability to quickly contribute in the lab. They should be able to clearly communicate their technical work, think through scientific problems, and work effectively within a collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitors or follows established experimental design and protocols and performs routine tasks and studies to obtain reproducible and reliable results with limited supervision.
- Plans, monitors or conducts, analyzes and records experiments, and provides interpretation of data. Effectively transfers experimental methods from literature to the lab and makes modifications as necessary.
- Develop and implement new protocols with moderate review.
- Engage coworkers in scientific discussions.
- Communicates data and interpretation to work group.
- Skilled at developing systems to ensure quality data.
- Skilled and/or knowledgeable in the use of standard laboratory equipment and with one or more major laboratory instruments/techniques.
- Effectively trouble-shoot equipment and experimental difficulties.
- Contributes to internal/external reports, papers, presentations, regulatory documents, invention disclosure submissions and/or patents.
- Participates in department-wide support efforts such as safety, recruiting and committees.
- May train staff and/or supervise others.
- Coordinates and organizes resources needed to complete the task.
- Understands when to seek input and when to make independent judgments
- Support analytical method development and testing for synthetic/small molecule drug substance and drug product.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree with approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred
- PhD candidates with directly relevant analytical research/industry experience are acceptable
- Bachelor’s candidates may be considered with approximately 10+ years of highly relevant experience
- Local candidates preferred, but candidates willing to relocate independently can be considered

- Technical Capabilities: UHPLC, GC, Karl Fisher, and Dissolution method development and execution
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $47.00 - $48.00/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
