Must-Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Strong SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and OTC experience in SAP S/4HANA.

• Expertise in pricing procedures and condition techniques.

• Hands-on experience with EDI and IDOC integrations.

• Strong knowledge of OTC–FI integration.

• Excellent client-facing, communication, and functional leadership skills.

• End-to-end Order-to-Cash process knowledge.

• Experience configuring and supporting SAP SD processes.

• Strong understanding of sales document types, item categories, schedule lines, and pricing procedures.

• Expertise in output determination, partner determination, and account determination.

• Experience with credit management, billing, delivery processing, and returns.

• Experience in requirements gathering, functional configuration, and solution design.

• Knowledge of SAP SD integration with MM, FI, WM/EWM, and PP.

• Experience in unit testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with technical teams.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with global SAP rollouts.

• SAP SD or SAP S/4HANA certification.

• Experience with SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.

• Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Order-to-Cash processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end OTC processes in SAP S/4HANA, including order management, delivery, billing, returns, and credit management.

• Configure and support SAP SD processes, including:

  • Inquiry and quotation management.

  • Sales order processing.

  • Delivery processing.

  • Shipping and transportation.

  • Billing and invoicing.

  • Credit management.

  • Returns and complaints processing.

• Design and configure complex pricing scenarios, including condition techniques, discounts, and rebates.

• Handle EDI integrations for orders, Advance Shipping Notices (ASN), and invoices using IDOCs and middleware.

• Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.

• Conduct fit-gap analysis and lead functional solution design discussions.

• Configure sales documents, item categories, schedule lines, pricing procedures, output determination, partner determination, and account determination.

• Integrate SAP SD with MM, FI, WM/EWM, and PP modules.

• Collaborate with ABAP developers, FI/MM consultants, and integration teams.

• Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployments.

• Analyze and resolve production support issues.

• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate technical developments.

• Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.

• Conduct user training and prepare process documentation.

• Mentor junior consultants and provide functional leadership throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities – Functional Leadership

• Lead OTC solution design and delivery across projects.

• Manage client expectations and stakeholder communications.

• Drive business process improvements and resolve complex functional issues.

• Ensure successful integration between SAP SD, FI, and external systems.

• Work independently and lead functional workshops and discussions.
  
  Experience Requirement

• 10+ years of overall experience in SAP SD/OTC consulting.

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA, pricing, EDI/IDOC, and OTC–FI integration.
