Senior SAP CAP Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications with modern frameworks and tools to address enterprise business needs
• Build microservices and event-driven solutions tailored for high-load, enterprise-grade environments, guaranteeing reliability and scalability
• Utilize in-memory database technologies to deliver exceptionally fast application performance
• Contribute to innovative projects integrating AI capabilities into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to boost efficiency and quality
• Operate within an Agile environment, adopting DevOps practices to streamline delivery and strengthen team collaboration

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development
• Proven capability to deliver application features on time that fully comply with functional specifications, SAP product standards, quality criteria, and project milestones
• Expertise in backend development using Java, REST/CXF, MVC frameworks such as Springboot, the CAP programming model, and SQL
• Competency in contributing to requirements review, design authoring and review, test scenario review, and code review processes
• Capability to implement automated unit tests that achieve full code coverage
• Skills in executing test plans through fully automated functional tests, addressing both positive and negative test scenarios
• Capability to troubleshoot and resolve internal defects and customer issues within defined SLA timelines
• Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, JUnit, Karate, Postman, QMate, qTest, and Selenium for development, testing, and project tracking
• Proficiency in English communication (B2 level or higher)

Nice to have

• Background in working with a major cloud hyperscaler such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a strong advantage
• Understanding of microservice architectures and event-driven design is highly appreciated
• Familiarity with other SAP products is viewed as a bonus
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practical DevOps capabilities, including CI/CD and automation, is a plus
• Showcase of interest in AI-driven SDLC processes is a great differentiator
