Job description

Job Summary
We are looking for aManual Testing Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring that applications meet functional and quality standards before release.
Key Responsibilities

Linux and Windows, Integration Testing,
Cipher environment setup, Cloud environment setup skills, performance testing concepts, Troubleshooting skills
Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios.
Create, review, and maintain detailedtest cases, test scenarios, and test data.
Executefunctional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
Identify, document, track, and retest defects using tools such asJira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
PerformUI and API testing as required.
Validate application workflows across different browsers, devices, and environments.
Participate in requirements review, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and defect triage meetings.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA engineers.
Performregression testing after bug fixes and new feature implementations.
Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
Ensure testing activities are completed within project timelines and quality standards.
Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage, and overall product quality.

Required Skills

3–5 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
Strong knowledge ofSDLC.
Good understanding ofAgile/Scrum methodology.
Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.
Strong knowledge offunctional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and system testing.
Good experience withdefect life cycle and defect management.
Hands-on experience withJira, Zephyr or equivalent defect-tracking tools.
Basic to good knowledge ofSQL/database testing.
Basic knowledge ofAPI testing using Postman or similar tools.
Understanding ofREST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON is an advantage.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as within a cross-functional team.

Good to Have

Experience working inweb application testing.
Knowledge ofSelenium or any test automation framework.
Experience with performance or security testing is a plus.
Experience working inJira + Confluence environments.

Qualifications: BE / B Tech / MCA or equivalent degree

Range of Year Experience-Max Year: 5
