Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced QAwith strong hands-on experience inFunctional and API Testing to independently drive the testing function. The candidate will be

responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and managing QA activities across the three projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and independently manageend-to-end QA and testing activities.
• Understand business and functional requirements and prepare appropriatetest strategies and test plans.
• Design, review, and executefunctional, integration, regression, system, and UAT test scenarios.
• PerformAPI testing for REST/SOAP APIs, including request/response validation, status codes, data validation, authentication, and error handling.
• Identify test scenarios, prepare test cases, and ensure adequatetest coverage.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product teams, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Manage the completedefect lifecycle, including defect identification, logging, prioritization, tracking, retesting, and closure.
• Drive regression testing for product releases, enhancements, and fixes.
• Prepare and communicatetest status, quality metrics, risks, and release readiness to stakeholders.
• Identify testing risks and dependencies and proactively address them.
• Establish and improve QA processes, standards, and best practices.
• Take ownership of QA deliverables and ensure testing activities are completed within agreed timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Functional Testing and API Testing.
• Proven experience in a Senior QA / Test Lead role.
• Ability to independently manage and drive the complete testing lifecycle.
• Good understanding of SDLC, defect management, test planning, and test execution.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such asPostman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Good understanding ofREST APIs, JSON/XML, HTTP methods, status codes, authentication, and API validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience intest automation using tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright.
