Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents to identify testing requirements.
Prepare and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
Identify, document, track, and report defects using defect management tools.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve software quality.
Execute test cases, validate results, and ensure applications meet defined quality standards.
Support automation testing activities and maintain existing automation scripts, wherever applicable.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, requirement reviews, and release validation activities.
Prepare test execution reports, defect summaries, and quality metrics.
Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, test coverage, and overall QA efficiency.
Required Skills
Strong experience in software quality assurance and testing.
Expertise in test planning, test case design, and test execution.
Experience in functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools.
Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage testing activities within project timelines.
Experience Requirements
5–10 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
Hands-on experience in test execution, defect management, and quality reporting.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
Automation testing experience is an advantage.
