Pay Range:$60/hr - $65/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify business and technical risks while contributing to user story definition and acceptance criteria.
• Define, review, and execute test strategies, plans, and cases across functional and non-functional requirements.
• Design and build automation frameworks usingAppium andUIAutomator2 for Android,Selenium WebDriver orCypress for web testing, andKarate orREST Assured for API automation.
• Automate Android application workflows and conduct profiling and performance analysis usingAndroid Studio Profiler,ADB,Perfetto, andFirebase Test Lab.
• Validate device capabilities and create reusable tools for hardware testing.
• Perform API functional, performance, and load testing usingJMeter,Gatling, ork6, analyzing platform reliability and resource utilization.
• Integrate automated tests intoJenkins and CI/CD pipelines while maintaining clear quality reporting.
• Collaborate in a Scrum environment to investigate defects and drive timely resolution.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• 7+ years of professional experience in QA automation.
• 6+ years of QA automation experience, including building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch for Android, web, API, and load testing.
• Hands-on Android application automation experience usingAppium andUIAutomator2, including device performance testing withAndroid Studio Profiler,ADB, andPerfetto.
• Strong programming skills inJavaScript orJava, with hands-on experience in API automation and performance/load-testing frameworks such asKarate,REST Assured,JMeter,Gatling, ork6.
• Experience defining and reviewing test plans, test cases, and risk-based quality strategies.
• Hands-on database testing experience withMongoDB, including query validation and performance analysis.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools likeGitHub Copilot to enhance automation development.
• Strong test-data management and data-mocking experience.
• Experience with API mocking using tools such asWireMock orMockServer.
• Experience testing scalable, cloud-native platforms built onAWS services.
• Retail or customer-facing technology experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Relevant software testing or cloud certifications are beneficial but not required.
