Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedSenior Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex web and digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing software development initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project delivery using Agile methodologies. Candidates with recent State Government client experience will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete project lifecycle from planning through successful delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and detailed work plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and status reporting.
• Create, manage, and prioritize user stories in Azure DevOps.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and stakeholder meetings.
• Manage quality assurance activities and software release processes.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams, business users, and leadership.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards, deadlines, and business objectives.
• Track project deliverables, dependencies, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Drive continuous process improvements and project management best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience managing web application or digital transformation projects.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise websites and web-based applications.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and modern software development methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar project management tools.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with software release management and QA coordination.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent State or Government client experience.
• PMP or PRINCE2 Certification.
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), especially Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Familiarity with SEO principles and digital content management.
• Experience using Airtable, Azure DevOps, Jira, and similar collaboration tools.
• Background in journalism, marketing, or content management is a plus.
• Experience managing project budgets and resource planning.
