Job Summary

This is aSenior Program Manager role focused on integrated planning within a large-scaleStrategic Technology Transformation program. The role is responsible for ensuring the organization has an integrated roadmap, influencing judgment, working with cross-functional teams, and driving a strategic roadmap. This project supports the TD President/CEO office, with the core challenge being how to orchestrate delivery in a sequenced way. The role requires getting to an integrated understanding of how to drive outcomes in a more integrated form. There are a significant number of Business initiatives (e.g., how to grow deposits) and Technology initiatives (e.g., modernizing core banking platforms), with a set of dependencies that must be managed to drive incremental value. The organization is looking for Senior Program Managers with great communication skills, influence, sound judgment, and the ability to manage up to senior stakeholders and manage other program managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform integrated planning across business and technology workstreams to ensure a cohesive, sequenced delivery roadmap
• Maintain and manage an integrated roadmap that reflects dependencies across business and technology initiatives
• Influence judgment and decision-making across cross-functional teams to drive strategic outcomes
• Work with cross-functional teams to align on priorities, sequencing, and dependencies
• Drive the strategic roadmap in support of the TD President/CEO office objectives
• Orchestrate delivery in a sequenced, structured way to realize incremental value
• Drive outcomes in a more integrated form by building an integrated understanding of all program workstreams
• Manage dependencies across a large portfolio that includes both business initiatives (growing deposits) and technology initiatives (modernizing core banking platforms)
• Manage up to senior stakeholders and manage other program managers within the program

Required Skills

• Strong communication skills — ability to present clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority across cross-functional teams
• Sound judgment in managing complex, ambiguous, large-scale programs
• Ability to manage up to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
• Experience managing other program managers
• Expertise in sequencing and dependency management across large, complex programs
• Background as aTechnical Program Manager — candidates who have worked at organizations such as Amazon, Google, Meta, or equivalent large-scale technology companies strongly preferred
• Must have worked onmodernization or transformational type projects — including moving to cloud-native architectures, replatforming initiatives, migrating to AI-native tech stacks, or equivalent large-scale technology transformation programs

Preferred Skills

• Financial services background (secondary to technical program management experience)
