Job Description

As theSenior Product Manager on theSubscriptions Datateam, you’ll treat subscriptions data as a product — defining, prioritizing, and delivering trusted, reusable data assets, metrics, and critical reporting that power decisions across membership, protection plans, and digital subscriptions. You’ll set product direction, work with engineering, data science, analytics, and business teams, and translate business intent into clear, durable metric definitions and priorities. Your work will support revenue growth, subscription platform modernization, reporting stability, and confident decision-making at scale.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non‑Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you’ll do
  • Define and execute the subscriptions data product strategy and roadmap, including shared data assets, semantic layers, metrics, and enterprise reporting.
  • Prioritize investments using business demand, adoption, data quality, and measurable outcomes to maximize impact.
  • Partner with engineering, analytics, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver trusted, scalable data products and reporting across membership, protection plans, and digital subscriptions.
  • Establish and govern enterprise metric definitions, ensuring consistency, alignment, and lifecycle stewardship across the organization.
  • Lead end-to-end product delivery by translating business needs into requirements, managing the backlog, and driving adoption from discovery through implementation.
  • Improve data quality, reliability, privacy compliance, and platform modernization through reporting consolidation, migration planning, validation, and AI-enabled productivity enhancements.
Basic qualifications
  • 6+ years of product management experience in Agile digital environments
  • 6+ years of experience setting product strategy, managing roadmaps, and measuring results
  • 2+ years of experience with data products, enterprise data platforms, reporting, or analytics solutions
  • 2+ years of experience leading work across engineering, analytics, design, and data science teams
Preferred qualifications
  • 8+ years of product management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience supporting subscriptions, membership, protection plans, or other recurring revenue businesses
  • Experience building shared, reusable data assets, semantic layers, or enterprise metric definitions
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery, SQL, and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience with data governance, data quality management, or privacy and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to explain technical topics clearly to senior leaders and business partners
