Job Description
Infosys Consulting is engaging in a large data transformation program that will simplify and modernize the current data estate onto a governed, cloud-based, AI-ready target-state platform, while transferring durable delivery capability into bank’s own Global Capability Center (GCC).The program spans twelve interdependent workstreams: SOR ingestion, SAS and Informatica reverse engineering, lift-and-shift migration, data product design and build, historical data migration, report repointing, SAS model conversion support, data governance integration, validation, parallel run, user adoption, and program management executed in waves over a multi-year duration, with delivery supported by an AI-assisted Foundry/Factory engineering model.
Role Summary:
The Program Lead is accountable for the overall management and delivery success of the program on behalf of Infosys Consulting, bringing together scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, stakeholder alignment, and organizational change into a single, coherent program management discipline across all workstreams and migration waves.
This is a program management leadership role, not a technical delivery role: the Program Lead does not own solution architecture or engineering execution directly, but ensures the program as a whole runs to plan, that governance forums function, that risks and issues are surfaced and resolved before they become schedule or cost impacts, that stakeholders across Infosys and Bank’s stay aligned and informed, and that the organization is ready to absorb each wave of change.
The role requires strong command of program management fundamentals, planning, tracking, governance, financials, risk, and change applied to a large, multi-year, multi-workstream data transformation program in a regulated banking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end program governance and execution, owning the integrated program plan across all workstreams and migration waves, including milestones, dependencies, critical path, and delivery against committed objectives.
- Establish and operate program management disciplines, including status reporting, RAG management, forecast-to-actual tracking, variance analysis, and standardized project management practices across all workstreams.
- Manage program risk, issue, dependency, and assumption management, driving proactive identification, mitigation, escalation, and resolution through a comprehensive RAID framework.
- Manage program controls, financials, and contractual obligations, including budget oversight, resource planning, SOW deliverable tracking, milestone achievement, and protection of invoicing and revenue realization.
- Program change governance, overseeing formal change control processes, evaluating scope, schedule, cost, resource, and architectural impacts, and maintaining program-wide change logs and approvals.
- Coordinate release, cutover, and transformation readiness activities, including stage-gate reviews, go/no-go decision processes, operational readiness assessments, and wave-based deployment planning.
- Serve as the primary program interface for executive and senior stakeholder groups, providing clear, accurate, and timely communication to leadership forums, governance councils, business sponsors, platform owners, and data governance bodies.
- Lead organizational change management and adoption, including stakeholder engagement, change-impact assessments, communications, training strategies, change champion networks, and post-deployment adoption monitoring.
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, aligning stakeholders across business, technology, delivery, governance, and operations teams while proactively managing expectations and resolving conflicts or misalignment.
- Measure, report, and optimize program outcomes, tracking success metrics, business value realization, platform transformation objectives, adoption targets, lessons learned, and transition to steady-state operational ownership.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required.
- 9+ years of program/project management experience, including 6+ years managing large-scale, multi-year, multi-workstream technology or data transformation programs, ideally within banking or financial services.
- Demonstrated track record owning end-to-end program governance: steering committee management, RAID/issue management, stage-gate reviews, and executive reporting.
- Strong experience in organizational change management and user adoption planning for large technology transformation programs, including training and communications strategy.
- Experience managing formal change control processes, including scope/schedule/cost impact assessment and CAB-style change governance.
- Experience coordinating cross-program dependencies in complex, multi-vendor, multi-initiative environments.
- Familiarity with data platform modernization programs (ETL/legacy migration, cloud data platforms, data governance) sufficient to manage delivery leads credibly, without requiring hands-on technical ownership.
- Experience with vendor/managed-services delivery models (onshore-offshore, GCC/BOT) and associated governance structures.
- Ability to travel as needed (typically up to 4 days/week) to client locations.
- Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with a large regional/national bank technology environment.
- Experience managing programs with parallel-run and cutover frameworks for mission-critical financial data platforms.
- Working knowledge of AI-assisted or agentic delivery models sufficient to govern their use within a program, without owning their technical configuration.
- Excellent executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to operate credibly with CIO/CDO-level and business-line executive stakeholders.
- Strong financial acumen, budget management, forecast-to-actuals, and commercial-terms literacy in a services delivery context.
Estimated total (base + bonus) annual compensation range for candidates are as indicated below:
$ 210,000 - $ 256,667
