Senior Power BI Developer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Power BI Developer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Irving, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Seeking a confident, self-driven technical leader to lead the design, development, and automation of end-to-end reporting and analytics solutions. This role involves mentoring junior developers, driving complex projects independently, and using expertise in Power BI, data integration, modeling, and analytics to build scalable business intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design and automation of the end-to-end development cycle to create Power reports and dashboards
• Automate data validation, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) processes
• Automate refreshes, monitoring, error handling, and data quality controls
• Design, build, test, and support automated ETL pipelines for Power BI semantic models, reports, and dashboards
• Enable self-service analytics through scalable reporting solutions and reusable data assets
• Integrate and transform data from enterprise sources using reusable, scalable ingestion patterns
• Optimize Power BI data models and implement data quality, lineage, security, and governance controls
• Optimize semantic models, metadata, and business definitions to improve AI-driven analytics and natural language query experiences

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Analytics experience
• 4+ years of experience with Power BI
• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes
• Proficiency with GitHub and Python
• Experience with automation and complex data analysis

Desired skills:

• Experience with Agile (Scrum) methodologies
• API Integration
• Microsoft SQL

Pay range:$43.13 - $51.13 per hour
