Senior Paralegal - Milwaukee, WI

Duration: 12 months, Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Work under the direction of a Supervisory Paralegal or Project Supervisor
• Perform moderately complex legal research and prepare legal documents
• Assist litigation teams in trial preparation by organizing documents and evidence
• Provide advanced automated litigation support using various software applications
• Screen for privileged documents and resolve identified issues
• Communicate with litigation teams about the status of discovery projects
• Perform docketing duties and track case filings
• Answer outside inquiries that do not require legal interpretations

Requirements:

• Two years of litigation paralegal experience or project experience required
• One year of experience in automated litigation support
• Sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw
• Hands-on familiarity with computer applications including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and imaging
• Knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure

Education:

• Paralegal certificate, JD, or equivalent legal training or experience
• Currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study.
