Senior OutSystems Developer

Job Summary:

Leads development of enterprise-grade OutSystems applications, integrations, and platform architectures. Sets factory standards and governs reusable component libraries.

Key Responsibilities

·       Architect OutSystems application modules, service layers, and reusable component libraries.

·       Design and implement integrations with external systems, databases, and APIs.

·       Establish architecture and lifecycle governance using Architecture Dashboard and LifeTime.

·       Optimize application performance, scalability, and technical debt posture.

·       Lead code review, secure development practices, and mentoring of mid-level developers.

Minimum Qualifications

·       Minimum Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Two (2) years of specialized experience may substitute for one (1) year of the academic requirement.

·       Minimum Experience:Five (5) to eight (8) years of OutSystems development experience, including at least two (2) years in an architecture or technical lead capacity.

·       Certifications — Required:OutSystems Certified Professional Developer or Advanced Developer.

·       Certifications — Obtainable After Hire:OutSystems Certified Tech Lead or Solution Architect, within 180 days of assignment.

·       Certifications — Preferred:OutSystems Certified Platform Specialist; AWS or Azure associate-level certification.

·       Required Skills:OutSystems Service Studio and Integration Studio; reactive web and mobile development; REST and SOAP integration; data modeling; Architecture Canvas; performance optimization.

·       Preferred Skills:OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC); federal environments; accessibility-compliant UI patterns.

Technical Environment

OutSystems 11 and OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC); Service Studio and Integration Studio; LifeTime deployment management; Architecture Dashboard and Discovery; Forge components; REST and SOAP integrations; SQL Server and Oracle; reactive web and mobile applications; C# and SQL extensions; Azure or AWS hosting.
