Senior .NET Full-stack Developer for Industrial Core Systems

About the role

As a senior full-stack developer, you’ll build technically advanced systems with complex business logic for If’s largest customers. You’ll work withC#, Entity Framework, SQL server, andAzureto deliver a modern backend with.NET Core along with a high-performance frontend based onTypeScriptandReact. You have a strong focus on code quality, use AI tools in development effectively, and strive to deliver according to modern architecture patterns, as the team does today. You'll use your analytical and technical skills to solve advanced problems while contributing to our journey to the web and learning a lot of new things.

Within IT Industrial Core Systems, you are involved in developing systems that help our colleagues inIf Industrial tomanage our largest customers and their insurance for e.g. factories, department stores, freight and personnel.

You are a member of one of the IT Industrial Core Systems' agile development teams. Each team consists of four to five developers and a QA engineer who work together as across-functional agile team. The teams work closely with both product owners and architects to ensure that we deliver valuable features in the right way.

What are you going to do?

• Develop and maintainback-end solutions using C#, Entity Framework, ASP.NET Core and Azure
• Build and improve high-performingfront-end solutionsusing React
• UseAI tools to complete development tasks more efficiently and support better productivity in the development process
• Apply analytical and technical skills to solve advanced problems and improve daily work for users
• Write clean, maintainable, high-quality code aligned with modern architectural patterns
• Collaborate with developers, quality assurance engineers, product owners and architects to deliver solutions in the right way

What do we expect from you?

Must have

• Extensive knowledge ofC#, .NET Core / Entity Framework / SQL Server
• Extensive knowledge of theAzure platform
• Experience in web development inTypeScriptandReact
• Passion for software development and delivering high-quality code
• Knowledge of agile development methods such as Scrum
• Self-motivation, openness to feedback and strong collaboration skills
• Ability to solve complex business logic in technically advanced systems
• University education in computer science, systems development, IT or equivalent experience
• Excellent Latvian and English language skills are required for effective day-to-day communication with colleagues both locally and internationally

Nice to have

• Use of AI tools in development
• Domain-driven design (DDD)
• Azure DevOps release pipeline setup/management skills
• Azure Certifications
