Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Core Developer with strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, microservices architecture, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The ideal candidate must possess strong coding and problem-solving skills, with proven experience in end-to-end application development and cloud-native application development using GCP.

Important: This is a core software development role. Candidates primarily involved in application support, production support, maintenance, monitoring, or L2/L3 support activities will not be considered.

Mandatory Technical Skills

1. C# and .NET Core Development

  • Strong hands-on programming experience in C# and ASP.NET Core.
  • Experience with .NET Core / .NET 6 or above.
  • Expertise in RESTful API and backend application development.
  • Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
  • Experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, dependency injection, and asynchronous programming.

2. Microservices and Backend Architecture

  • Hands-on experience designing and developing microservices.
  • Experience with API integrations and distributed application architecture.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

3. Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Hands-on experience developing, integrating, or deploying .NET applications on GCP.
  • Experience with relevant GCP services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, or Cloud Storage.
  • Understanding of cloud-native application architecture and deployment practices.
  • Experience with application security and cloud service integrations.

4. Database Development

  • Strong SQL programming skills.
  • Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
  • Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures.

5. Development Practices

  • Experience with Git and version control.
  • Unit testing using xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated application deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and implement enterprise applications using C# and ASP.NET Core.
  • Develop scalable REST APIs, backend services, and microservices.
  • Build and integrate cloud-native applications using Google Cloud Platform.
  • Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and optimized code.
  • Participate in application architecture discussions, technical design, and code reviews.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, code refactoring, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, architecture, and DevOps teams.
  • Independently own development deliverables from requirements gathering through implementation.

Preferred Skills

  • Docker and Kubernetes.
  • GCP IAM, Secret Manager, and Cloud Monitoring.
  • Event-driven architecture using Pub/Sub.
  • Terraform or Infrastructure as Code.
  • CI/CD using Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant software development experience.
  • Strong current hands-on coding experience in C# and .NET Core.
  • Practical experience with GCP-based application development or deployment.
  • Strong API and microservices development experience.
  • Willingness to work in the 2 PM – 10 PM IST shift.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid model (2–3 days from office).
  • Must possess strong coding skills and be capable of clearing a technical coding assessment.
