Senior .NET & Azure AI Engineer (Commercial Insurance)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior .NET & Azure AI Engineer to support the design and development of modern, cloud-based solutions within a commercial insurance environment. This role requires deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, strong .NET development skills, and practical exposure to Azure AI services.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in commercial insurance, modern API-driven architecture, and cloud-native development. This is a hands-on engineering role within an agile delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C# .NET and modern API architectures.

2. Build and integrate solutions leveraging Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI and Azure Foundry.

3. Develop and support cloud-native applications using Azure services such as Container Apps, App Services, API Management, and Logic Apps.

4. Implement secure cloud solutions utilizing Azure Key Vault, App Gateway, and SQL Managed Instance.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver high-quality software aligned with business objectives.

6. Contribute to infrastructure design and deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Bicep, ARM, Terraform).

7. Participate in code reviews, testing, and release activities within an enterprise delivery framework.

8. Support ongoing enhancements and modernization of commercial insurance systems.
   

Required Skills & Experience

● 7+ years of experience working in commercial insurance environments
● Strong hands-on experience with Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Azure Foundry)
● Advanced proficiency in C# .NET, API design, and development
● Solid experience with Azure Cloud services, including Container Apps, API Management, App Gateway, Key Vault, App Services, Logic Apps, and SQL MI
● Experience using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform
● Bachelor's degree required
