Job Description
We are looking for an experiencedSenior MuleSoft Developer with8+ years of overall IT experience and5+ years of hands-on experience in MuleSoft API development and enterprise integration. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing, developing, deploying, and supporting scalable integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The role requires excellent backend development skills, a solid understanding of API-led architecture, and experience in delivering high-performance integration solutions in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy enterprise integration solutions usingMuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4).
- Build, maintain, and enhanceRESTful, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs following API-led connectivity principles.
- Develop scalableSystem, Process, and Experience APIs using MuleSoft best practices.
- Design API specifications usingRAML and implement reusable integration frameworks.
- Develop complexDataWeave transformations using functions such asMap Object, Pluck, Aggregation, and other transformation techniques.
- Implement robusterror handling, logging, monitoring, and exception management frameworks.
- Develop secure APIs using authentication and authorization mechanisms such asOAuth, JWT, Basic Authentication, and API security policies.
- Build and maintainJava-based custom components and reusable libraries to extend MuleSoft capabilities.
- Integrate enterprise applications, databases, cloud platforms, Salesforce, and third-party applications.
- Develop microservices-based integration solutions with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to high-level system design and integration strategy.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, deployment, and release management.
- Perform unit testing usingMUnit, participate in code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize API performance.
- Prepare technical documentation, integration flow diagrams, and system design documentation.
- Work closely with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
- 8+ years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience.
- Strong expertise inMuleSoft Anypoint Platform,Mule 4,Anypoint Studio,API Manager,Runtime Manager, andCloudHub.
- Strong backend development experience inJava (preferred),Python,Node.js, orGo.
- Hands-on experience withREST APIs,SOAP Web Services, andGraphQL APIs.
- Strong knowledge ofAPI-led Connectivity,Integration Design Patterns, andAPI Lifecycle Management.
- Expertise inDataWeave,RAML,XML,JSON, and API design.
- Experience withSalesforce Connectors and enterprise application integrations.
- Strong understanding of API security, encryption/decryption, authentication mechanisms, and API governance.
- Experience withKafka, JMS, or other Message Queue technologies for event-driven integrations.
- Hands-on experience withCI/CD pipelines,Jenkins,Git,Maven, and version control systems.
- Good understanding of monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such asOracle,MySQL,SQL Server, orPostgreSQL.
- Experience in writingMUnit test cases, conducting code reviews, and maintaining high code quality standards.
- Experience withJavaScript orReact.js.
- Exposure toEDI integrations (X12, EDIFACT).
- Experience with cloud platforms such asAWS orMicrosoft Azure.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such asDocker andKubernetes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within Agile teams.
- Proactive mindset with a strong focus on quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.
