We're looking for an experienced Senior MEP Engineer to join our organization on a railway project in Minya, Egypt. In this site-based role, you will lead the design, coordination, and on-site implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for railway infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions that meet all railway operational standards and project requirements.

• Maintain a strong on-site presence to supervise and coordinate MEP installation activities, ensuring compliance with railway specifications, safety protocols, and construction schedules
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff on-site, providing direct guidance on railway-specific design methodologies, installation procedures, and best practices
• Coordinate MEP systems with civil, track, and signaling designs on-site to ensure seamless integration and optimal railway operational performance
• Conduct detailed on-site inspections and analysis of railway systems, verify code compliance with railway standards and international regulations, and document findings in real-time
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, construction drawings, and comprehensive site reports while managing project timelines, budgets, and collaborating with project managers, contractors, and railway authorities to resolve design and installation conflicts on location

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 15+ years of professional experience in MEP design, railway infrastructure systems, and site-based railway project execution
• Proven expertise in railway-specific MEP systems installation and commissioning on active railway projects
• Comprehensive knowledge of railway operational standards, international railway specifications, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems design principles, and relevant building codes
• Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and mentoring junior staff in railway environments
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and railway compliance requirements
• Proven project management experience with ability to manage multiple railway projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across disciplines and with railway authorities
• Extensive site-based project management experience with ability to maintain continuous on-site presence
