Experienced management and administration professional to be responsible for resolution of customer service issues, detailed and timely processing of new and existing group insurance enrollment (currently Life/AD&D, Disability, Critical Illness, Accident, Medical and Dental coverage), and other related daily administration in support of (a) national account(s).

Reports to the Group Insurance Administration Director and firm principals at Disability Specialists (subsidiary of Acrisure, LLC).

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve any client inquiries or customer service issues in a timely manner (daily via phone call, email, or other required methods, TBD).
  • Maintain and update employee records, benefits files, and reports.
  • Master various systems for research, data entry updates, or storage in databases, or other resources such as:Prudential enrollment portal Prudential TPA portal AGB SmartOffice Velocify Email boxes such as FSIPlan or FSIenroll Shared drive OneDrive files FSI CRM FINRA Other as assigned
  • Coordinate and perform timely processing (daily, every 2 days maximum) of assigned new and replacement enrollment, including:Downloads of enrollment applications from carrier system Notifying assigned sales team of received applications Accessing resources to evaluate eligibility for insurance (FINRA, FSI membership searches) and update database records via data entry Manage association membership status (communication, research, updates in database) Ongoing updates and maintenance of database records for any changes (benefit amount changes, membership or FINRA status, contact information etc.) Process email confirmations for both new and replacement enrollment applications timely, meeting deadlines
  • Respond to internal DSI communications (voicemails, emails) daily (with ETA on delivery of resolution if not the same day, and follow through to meet ETA).
  • Process cancellations/terminations, and related credit requests.
  • Process requests for forms:Beneficiary ACH Claims
  • Evaluate the efficiency and value of current benefit programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with DSI finance team and ensure that premium payment deductions, credit requests, and bank returns are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and create records, reports, and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and provider regulations.

Additional Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent insurance business experience in insurance or a related field.
  • Management experience for coordinating both people and processes.
  • Working knowledge of relevant insurance and underwriting policies and regulations.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • Elevated professionalism with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Accuracy (attention to detail).

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
