Opportunity Overview

The Corporate Development & EJ Ventures team within our Firm Strategy division drives meaningful value creation for Edward Jones — through strategic investments, acquisitions, new business incubation and partnerships that expand what the firm is capable of delivering to clients and financial advisors. This isn’t just about deploying capital. It’s about solving real challenges for real people, in support of the firm’s purpose and strategic objectives.

To truly drive change for clients and accelerate the business, this team goes beyond our own walls — convening entrepreneurs, investors, financial advisors and others to leverage each other’s strengths and work together as one. The work is intentional, both in support of the firm’s ambition and because it’s the right thing to do for those we serve.

In Corporate Development & EJ Ventures, your growth is shaped by the breadth of what you’re asked to solve — and the caliber of the people you solve it with. You’ll collaborate across senior leadership, legal, finance and strategy teams, building expertise in strategic investments, market scanning, partnership structuring and innovation execution. We’re identifying and solving client and financial advisor needs — sometimes before they know they need it. That kind of foresight takes a team that’s constantly scanning for what’s next, staying plugged into the external landscape and scanning for trends and disruptions that could reshape our industry. If you’re motivated by work that is measurable, high-stakes and deeply tied to the firm’s future, this is where that work lives.
