Senior Manager, AMXL ACES

Senior Manager, ACES takes a leadership role in the rollout of projects, new processes, and continuous improvement.

This role partners with program management and technical teams and is able to build relationships with colleagues across delivery stations, tech, and support teams. This role is both a collaborator focused on implementing network-wide initiatives, as well as the primary Quality partner for Operations Regional Leaders. To be successful in this role, you need to pair analytical skills, a data-driven outlook with great communication skills, ability to deal with ambiguity in the constantly changing/fast paced environment, able to prepare and give detailed data-driven business reviews to senior management, have clear and effective narratives and present them effectively to Directors and VPs, and mobility to be onsite at sites.

Key job responsibilities
1. Partners across stakeholders (FM, MM, LM, Supply Chain, Engineering) at country, regional, and cross-regional levels to identify and deliver improvements in process workflow, driving standardization and performance metrics with measurable customer and cost impact.
2. Leads cross-functional strategic projects that are business-critical and potentially global in scope; owns the full lifecycle from design through rollout.
3. Sets and manages stakeholder expectations; prioritizes projects and feature sets against business objectives across country and regional marketplaces.
4. Writes clear functional specifications, business cases, and implementation plans grounded in business requirements; applies structured problem-solving and rigorous analytical methods to large, complex data sets.
5. Develops and executes pilots with Ops leaders to test and validate solutions before scaling across the broader Operations network.
6. Serves as a credible business partner to Operations leadership.
7. Dives deep into operational processes to diagnose under-performance, troubleshoot root causes, and provide hands-on technical and operational guidance to teams, managers, and field personnel.

AMXL is a single-threaded organization that owns the end-to-end Customer experience for heavy and bulky products. AMXL consolidates supply chain, tech, FC operations, transportation, delivery stations, and last mile delivery. We also provide special handling services such as Room of Choice delivery, Haul-Away and Installation/Assembly for select items.
We are a dynamic, fast-growing team dedicated to building and optimizing a robust logistics network. Our focus is on ensuring seamless, efficient transportation of large items, driving innovation, and continuously improving our processes to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Basic qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, project management, operations, logistics, supply chain or related field
- 6+ years of program or project management experience
- Hands-on experience applying Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational and process improvement, including process mapping, root cause analysis, and process redesign.
- Business-level proficiency in English and conversational Japanese

Preferred qualifications

- Experience producing executive-level written materials and presenting to executive audiences
- Experience building scalable programs and repeatable scalable processes, levering various tools and methods to create scale and efficiency
- • Knowledge of Six Sigma tools, Lean techniques, PMP or similar standards preferred
- • Experience in Amazon operations, logistics, last-mile, or supply chain environments
- • Experience with cross-regional program coordination or global benchmarking initiatives
- • Proficiency in project management tools
