WHO WE ARE

At Acclaro, we're more than a localization company — we're a content intelligence solutions company, and a global team of language enthusiasts, cultural connectors, and technology innovators. Our mission is to help brands speak the world's languages and resonate deeply across cultures by blending human expertise with cutting-edge technology, delivered through a follow-the-sun model that keeps our teams moving around the clock and around the globe.

With over two decades of experience, we support some of the world's most recognizable brands in expanding their global reach. And we're scaling: we've been making material investments in our own AI-native platform, one that's already reshaping how our business — and the localization industry more broadly — works. Join us on our journey to be the model localization company of the next decade, one that's loved by clients, colleagues, and communities alike.

YOUR NEXT ROLE

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of complex, multi-format localization work and provide operational leadership across an assigned portfolio of client accounts. You will remain hands-on in project delivery while taking broader accountability for service performance, day-to-day client relationships, operational governance, risk management, workflow improvement and the coordination of project teams. Depending on the client segment, you may operate as the senior operational lead for the account, with support and strategic oversight from a Program Manager where applicable.

This role combines disciplined project execution with practical account leadership. You will make sound decisions within your remit, resolve operational issues at the appropriate level, mentor colleagues and improve how work is delivered. The role works closely with Program Management, Account Management and specialist delivery teams, with clear escalation and decision boundaries for strategic, contractual and commercial matters.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Account and operational accountability: Take day-to-day operational accountability for an assigned portfolio of accounts, ensuring delivery aligns with the agreed service model, client commitments and internal standards.
  • Complex delivery leadership: Lead complex or high-priority localization projects and interconnected workstreams across software, marketing, multimedia and documentation content, from scoping through closure.
  • Service performance: Own operational performance across assigned accounts, including SLAs and KPIs, quality, schedule, budget, productivity and client satisfaction; identify adverse trends early and implement corrective actions.
  • Client relationship management: Act as the senior day-to-day operational contact, lead regular service and governance discussions where assigned, communicate performance clearly and ensure actions are followed through.
  • Operational governance: Maintain accurate account plans, trackers, reporting, decisions, risks, issues and actions; prepare operational inputs for business reviews and support Program Managers with wider governance and account planning.
  • Escalation and recovery: Own operational escalations within the Senior Project Manager remit, coordinate root-cause analysis and recovery plans, and escalate promptly when an issue has strategic, contractual, commercial or material client impact.
  • Workflow and continuous improvement: Identify and implement workflow, quality and productivity improvements; standardise repeatable processes and promote appropriate use of automation, technology and self-service solutions.
  • Resource and capacity planning: Plan and coordinate resources across projects and accounts, allocate work appropriately, manage dependencies and address capacity, capability or coverage risks.
  • Onboarding and change delivery: Lead operational implementation of new services, workflows and lower-complexity onboarding, ensuring requirements, ownership, documentation, readiness and knowledge transfer are clear.
  • Team leadership and mentoring: Provide day-to-day guidance, prioritisation and mentoring to Project Managers and Project Coordinators on assigned accounts; review work, reinforce standards and support development. Formal people management applies only where specifically assigned.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Coordinate with Program Management, Account Management, Solutions, Technology, Engineering, Quality, Vendor Management, Finance, linguists and DTP teams to resolve issues and achieve account objectives.
  • Financial discipline: Scope and quote work accurately, monitor project and account-level revenue and gross-margin indicators, control delivery costs, support forecasting inputs and raise financial risks with the appropriate owner.
  • Growth and solution support: Identify operational opportunities to improve or extend services and contribute delivery expertise to proposals, solution design and implementation planning, partnering with Program or Account Management on commercial decisions.
  • Compliance and administration: Ensure project and account documentation, purchase-order controls, invoicing inputs, system records and administrative workflows are complete, accurate and timely.

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU

  • Have 5+ years of experience managing localization projects in a language-service-provider or similarly complex global delivery environment.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent professional.
  • Have independently led complex projects or account workstreams, including quality, financial and schedule accountability.
  • Can manage day-to-day client relationships and communicate performance, risks, decisions and actions clearly and professionally.
  • Use data and sound judgement to prioritize, identify trends and make timely decisions within an agreed remit.
  • Can manage (to a high standards) operational escalations, coordinate root-cause analysis and drive recovery actions to closure.
  • Understand localization financials, including scoping, quoting, budget control, revenue and gross-margin drivers.
  • Can coordinate contributors and dependencies across global, cross-functional teams without relying on formal authority.
  • Are confident mentoring Project Managers and Project Coordinators and reinforcing consistent ways of working.
  • Can operate in a segment-based service model where Senior Project Manager and Program Manager involvement varies by account.
  • Balance accountability and initiative with appropriate escalation of strategic, commercial, contractual and material client matters.

YOU'LL STAND OUT IF YOU

  • Have led operational delivery for enterprise, growth or multi-service client accounts.
  • Have experience leading service reviews, KPI reporting, QBR preparation, account health tracking or structured governance routines.
  • Have implemented new client workflows, service expansions or operational onboarding across multiple teams.
  • Have delivered measurable process, quality, productivity or margin improvements through standardisation or automation.
  • Have advanced experience with translation-management tools, localization platforms, reporting tools or technology-enabled delivery models.
  • Hold a recognized project-management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent.
  • Are fluent in one or more languages beyond English.
  • Are recognized for calm, structured judgement during ambiguity, rapid change or client escalation.
