Senior-level Marketing and Proposal Manager | Construction

Our client is a family-owned business for over a century and is a leader in the design and construction of more than 6,000 superior projects. Our client provides a full range of services and specializes in managing the entire construction process from concept, design, and procurement, through construction, closeout, and occupancy. The firm employs a collaborative combination of engineers, architects and construction managers and is most proud of its reputation for client services and successful project delivery.
Description:
Immediate need for an experienced Marketing and Proposal Manager reporting directly to the Director of Marketing. This is a six-month assignment replacing someone on leave. There is a slight possibility that this person may segue to perm after six months. This person will perform a wide range of duties related to marketing and communications.The person must organize, prioritize, and complete work in a timely manner. The candidate must demonstrate outstanding writing capability and an advanced understanding of producing and completing exceptional work.
THIS POSITION IS COMPLETELY REMOTE, ALTHOUGH MAY NEED TO GO INTO THE OFFICE UPON REQUEST.
Responsibilities:
- Develop proposals by coordinating with technical staff, architects, engineers, and project managers.
- Generate compelling content tailored to client needs, ensuring alignment with the firm’s brand and strategic objectives.
- Manage the proposal process from initiation to submission, including schedules, assignments, and deadlines.
- Understand client expectations to tailor proposals effectively, including participation in pre-bid meetings.
- Develop and maintain marketing brochures, project profiles, and resumes.
- Support editing content under Sr. Proposal Manager and Director of Marketing’s direction.
- Support company Social Media Specialist supporting campaigns at the direction of Sr. Proposal Manager or Director of Marketing
- Support in the development of internal and external newsletters.
- Market Research - Stay informed on industry trends and competitors to enhance the firm’s competitive position.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of marketing, preparing and leading proposal development. AEC fields preferred!
- Superior writing, editing, and graphic design skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
- MAC environment preferred but not required.
- MUST have excellent verbal and written communication skills
BA/BS in related fields including marketing, business, journalism or related field.
