Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Engineer robust application platforms that can grow with demand and fulfill defined business requirements
• Participate in system-design discussions by offering perspectives that influence architectural direction
• Coordinate with cross-functional delivery partners to ensure software releases remain on schedule and meet agreed standards
• Assess teammates’ implementations and provide constructive feedback that improves code consistency and readability
• Resolve sophisticated technical issues arising during design, development, testing, and production support
• Help early-career engineers gain confidence through hands-on guidance and shared technical expertise
• Contribute to planning workshops by defining work boundaries, identifying dependencies, and estimating delivery timelines
• Stay current with industry changes and introduce valuable practices into established development routines
• Maintain accurate records of significant engineering choices and workflows to simplify future maintenance
• Engage business stakeholders to clarify desired outcomes and align product delivery with their priorities

Requirements

• A minimum of three years of applied experience in a relevant software-focused position
• Working knowledge of artificial intelligence tools and methods that strengthen solution-building approaches
• Deep knowledge of core Java programming and object-oriented software design techniques
• Demonstrated background using Java 8 features in real-world development projects
• Experience building and operating server-side components with Spring Boot
• Practical exposure to cloud resources and application services provided through Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services for hosting, administering, and releasing cloud-based workloads
• Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery practices for repeatable automated deployment pipelines
• Ability to write SQL queries and work effectively with relational database structures
• Proven experience creating independently deployable services using microservices principles
• Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and connecting to external REST services
• Ability to create unit tests that validate expected functionality and improve application stability
• Working awareness of Java-compatible NoSQL database technologies
• Professional English communication skills at B2 level or above
