Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Build durable technical solutions that balance organizational goals with high-quality engineering design
• Participate in architecture sessions and help establish effective technical approaches for current projects
• Partner with teams across product, business, and technology areas to achieve dependable and timely delivery
• Examine code submitted by colleagues and recommend improvements that reinforce team development conventions
• Identify root causes of difficult technical problems and deliver sustainable fixes across the software lifecycle
• Share knowledge with junior team members to strengthen their practical skills and confidence
• Join planning workshops to define project boundaries, assess complexity, and provide realistic timeline input
• Follow emerging developments in the technology landscape and incorporate relevant improvements into team routines
• Create and update technical documentation that explains design rationale, processes, and critical implementation choices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to set success criteria and ensure final results reflect their requirements

Requirements

• Three or more years of applicable industry experience in software engineering or a comparable role
• Understanding of AI theory and tools that can be used to strengthen technical solution design
• Advanced knowledge of Java Core concepts and object-oriented development methodology
• Practical background working with Java 8 functionality in live software projects
• Strong Spring Boot capability for delivering and supporting backend application features
• Experience operating software or infrastructure in a Microsoft Azure environment
• Familiarity with AWS capabilities for hosting, releasing, and administering cloud solutions
• Working knowledge of CI/CD automation for reliable build, test, and deployment processes
• Competence in SQL for managing structured information within relational databases
• Demonstrated experience implementing distributed systems with microservices principles
• Practical skills in creating REST APIs and connecting applications through RESTful services
• Experience applying unit testing methods to maintain dependable and maintainable code
• Awareness of NoSQL databases suitable for Java-based technology stacks
• B2-level English or higher for effective communication in a professional setting
