Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Engineer robust applications that scale effectively and satisfy defined functional and technical needs
• Share insights in solution-design discussions to influence architecture choices and project roadmaps
• Work across multiple functions to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and meet quality commitments
• Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive feedback that improves code readability and maintainability
• Troubleshoot sophisticated development issues and drive corrective work through to completion
• Help early-career engineers grow by offering hands-on support, guidance, and technical expertise
• Contribute to planning activities through scope evaluation, effort estimation, and clarification of delivery needs
• Stay informed about changing technology practices and adopt approaches that add practical value to the team
• Document engineering decisions and implementation workflows to retain knowledge and simplify ongoing support
• Engage business partners to understand priorities and align delivered work with intended outcomes

Requirements

• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a relevant software development position
• Applied familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts and platforms that improve solution-building practices
• Deep understanding of core Java programming and object-oriented software design
• Demonstrated experience using Java 8 features in real-world application development
• Experience building and maintaining server-side components with Spring Boot
• Practical exposure to cloud-based infrastructure and services within Microsoft Azure
• Working awareness of Amazon Web Services for managing cloud workloads and deployment activities
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery principles for repeatable release automation
• Ability to use SQL for relational database access, data retrieval, and information management
• Background in creating independently deployable services through a microservices-based design approach
• Experience exposing REST endpoints and consuming external REST integrations
• Ability to create unit tests that verify expected behavior and improve software stability
• Working knowledge of Java-compatible NoSQL data storage solutions
• Professional English skills at B2 level or above for written and spoken collaboration
