Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Sketch out and implement durable, scalable technical solutions in line with business aims and engineering standards
• Participate in architecture dialogue, lending insight that helps determine the course projects follow
• Team up with various functional groups to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and meet quality thresholds
• Review and comment on code produced by fellow team members, promoting sound engineering through helpful suggestions
• Troubleshoot and resolve demanding technical matters that come up throughout different phases of development
• Guide and support newer developers by passing along expertise that enhances their skills and self-confidence
• Engage in planning sessions, contributing to the definition of scope and delivering reliable timeline estimates
• Track developments across the technology space and introduce valuable new practices into daily operations
• Record significant technical decisions and workflows to help ensure the codebase stays maintainable long-term
• Work closely with business stakeholders to establish well-defined goals and confirm delivered work meets agreed terms

Requirements

• A minimum of three years of directly applicable experience in a similar technical role
• Practical understanding of AI-related tools and frameworks, applied to improve solution architecture
• Firm grasp of Java Core essentials combined with strong object-oriented programming ability
• History of implementing Java 8 features within real, applied project work
• Competency with Spring Boot for constructing and maintaining backend system elements
• Experience operating in cloud environments built on the Microsoft Azure platform
• Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services for coordinating and deploying cloud-driven solutions
• Grasp of CI/CD fundamentals that enable steady, automated software deployment
• Capable of using SQL to manage and pull data from relational database environments
• Demonstrated experience architecting systems based on Microservice Architecture standards
• Hands-on experience building and interfacing with REST-based API systems
• Reliable knowledge of Unit Testing methods to maintain consistent, high-quality code
• Exposure to NoSQL database technologies that complement Java-based solutions
• Proficient English communication skills at a B2 level or higher
