Senior IT Project Manager

Location: Harrisburg, PA (Remote)

Duration: 8 Months

Seeking for a Senior IT Project Manager, supporting the Strategic Portfolio Management Office (SPMO). You will play a crucial role in enhancing our Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool capabilities and leading various project management processes across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

• Assist project managers with planning and scheduling using Microsoft Project-like tools.
• Facilitate the adoption of project change request workflows.
• Help configure and develop portfolio, program, and agile management modules within the PPM tool.
• Collaborate with the PPM tool development team from requirements through testing.
• Lead pilot programs and support enterprise-wide rollout.
• Create and deliver training, tips, and knowledge base articles.
• Support governance committees in assessing and prioritizing PPM tool capabilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of IT project management experience.
• Minimum 3 years of program, portfolio, or agile project management experience.
• Experience with software testing, training, and user guide development.
• High proficiency in project scheduling with Microsoft Project or similar PPM tools.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Office suite.

Preferences:

• PMP, PgMP, PfMP, Scrum, SAFe certifications.
• Experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
