Full-Stack Developer with focus on AI and Next.js

We are now looking for a motivated and talented developer to join one of our teams.

About the role

AI is changing how software is built, and we want to use it well. We are also introducing Next.js into our development landscape. We are looking for someone who has strong Next.js skills and uses AI in their daily work to help lead both changes.

You will speed up adoption in two areas. You will help the team build confidence in Next.js, and you will show how AI coding assistants and agentic workflows can improve speed and quality. You will mentor colleagues, promote good practices, and help shape how we use AI responsibly in development: in coding, testing, code reviews, and documentation.

You will work in one of our cross-functional agile teams, designing and delivering web services that give customers across the Nordic countries a smooth experience. You will also help explore where AI-powered features can make our self-service solutions more useful to customers.

Together with your team, you will build web solutions and APIs on Azure-hosted services using C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, JavaScript, React, Next.js, and Razor. Your toolkit includes GitHub Copilot and other AI tools.

Test automation and continuous integration are a natural part of your workflow, and you look for ways AI can strengthen them. You will also work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and refine user stories.

About the team

Our web applications give Nordic customers modern self-service solutions for managing insurance, claims, and payments. The team keeps improving these services and develops APIs that support other digital channels, including mobile apps.

You will join a cross-functional agile team with colleagues in Turku, Espoo, Riga, and Stockholm. The team is supportive, ambitious, and committed to continuous improvement, including finding practical ways to work better with AI. As part of the Oasis tribe, you will help deliver services that keep customers well supported, informed, and correctly insured across the Nordics. The team works across several locations, but there are regular chances to meet colleagues in person.

You will also be part of a chapter, a community of developers with similar skills. Chapters make sure our teams have the technical capabilities they need now and in the future, and AI-assisted development is a growing part of that. With your peers, you will shape learning topics, share knowledge, and grow your expertise with support from your Chapter Lead.

Who are you?

You enjoy development in an agile environment and contribute to your team's software development and operations work. You see AI as a natural part of modern development and are curious about how it can help teams deliver better software. You like sharing your Next.js and AI know-how, coaching colleagues, and helping them build confidence. You care about quality and good design and always want to learn more.

You also have:

• Several years of experience in software development (mid or senior level)
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code in daily development, and an interest in agentic development workflows
• An understanding of how to use AI-generated code responsibly, including reviewing, testing, and validating it
• Deep knowledge of backend development with C#/.NET
• A good understanding of REST API development (.NET)
• Front-end experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience with Azure, Git environments, pull requests, and code reviews
• A solid understanding of HTML and CSS (Tailwind)
• Experience integrating third-party services through APIs
• Experience building AI-powered features, for example integrating LLM APIs such as Azure OpenAI, or working with prompt design, RAG, or the Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Strong communication skills, so you can explain complex ideas and logic to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability, including critical thinking and resourceful solution design
• Strong collaboration skills and comfort with practices such as code reviews and pair programming
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, or NoSQL
• A relevant bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent work experience
