Responsibilities

• Design and release high-performing web systems that unite contemporary JavaScript development with AI-enabled functionality
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, product teams, designers, and analysts to establish technical requirements and expected outcomes
• Increase the speed and reliability of frontend applications and backend services while improving the customer journey
• Implement advanced machine learning capabilities in production systems using secure deployment methods
• Maintain strong engineering quality by creating understandable code, comprehensive documentation, and durable technical solutions
• Plan and perform extensive testing across individual modules, integrated services, and complete application workflows
• Operate and optimize build systems, integration pipelines, and automated routines to enable rapid delivery
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced developers and cultivate learning through constructive code feedback
• Solve complex production issues by examining interactions across services, platforms, and infrastructure components
• Help steer architectural direction and encourage innovation throughout the wider technology function

Requirements

• Professional software engineering experience of at least three years, demonstrating advancement in responsibility and technical influence
• Thorough knowledge of full stack delivery, including user-facing web layers and scalable server infrastructure
• Advanced understanding of artificial intelligence, algorithm integration, and the design of machine learning-powered features
• Strong JavaScript expertise for building efficient interactive experiences and coordinating asynchronous operations
• Experience with React for developing modular interface architectures and managing intricate client-side state
• Proven ability to build asynchronous APIs and distributed backend solutions with Node.js
• Practical use of Python for working with data, integrating AI engines, or developing backend utilities
• Experience with Java in enterprise service integration and stable application framework development
• Familiarity with Go for creating concurrent backend applications and performant systems tooling
• Ability to develop reliable test cases and automated validation using Testify
• Hands-on Webpack experience for optimizing bundles, organizing modules, and improving asset delivery
• Knowledge of Jest for running automated checks in JavaScript applications
• Experience using Karma to support test execution across different browsers
• Working familiarity with Mocha for flexible asynchronous testing approaches
• Experience with Gulp for automating build operations, processing assets, and maintaining scripts
• Exposure to Grunt for supporting legacy build processes and automated task definitions
• B2-level English or stronger for clear written and verbal communication in an international environment

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to open machine learning projects or engaging with public AI code repositories
• Working knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for running containerized applications built with JavaScript and Python
• Exposure to PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis for responsive data storage, retrieval, and caching implementations
• Familiarity with GraphQL for developing efficient and customizable data-access contracts
• Background in web security hardening and vulnerability assessment activities
