We are looking for aSenior Financial Analytics Engineer to join ourFinancial Data and Automation team. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for data engineering topics under a standard analytics framework. This means theextraction, transformation, and modeling of operational and financial data for to create solutions for all of Finance. This includesSAP data, for which you will become an Expert, if you are not already! 

• Support time-sensitivemonth-end closing activities through financial data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting validation in compliance withIFRS standards
• Design, maintain, and optimize data pipelinesconnecting SAP/ERP data structures with Google BigQuery (GBQ)
• Write and maintainSQL queries and Python scripts to extract, model, and analyze complex financial data
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolvedata discrepancies across SAP tables, data models, and downstream analytics platforms
• Build and maintainself-service reporting tools and dashboardsthat allow Finance stakeholders to access reliable data independently
• Translate business and financial requirements into scalable technical reporting specifications and data models
• Lead initiativesto expand in-house financial data solutions and analytics capabilities across Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Serve as thekey technical bridgebetween Finance stakeholders and core Data teams

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business Informatics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 5+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or Financial Data Analyst working with large-scale financial and ERP data structures
• Advanced proficiency inSQL for complex data modeling, analytical queries, window functions, and data validation
• Practical experience working with ERP and SAP data models(e.g., financial accounting tables, reporting structures, data specifications)
• Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses, specificallyGoogle BigQuery (GBQ), and modern data stack tooling
• Solid understanding ofcore financial accounting principles, including IFRS standards, reconciliation workflows, and month-end closing processes
• Proven track record ofbuilding reports and self-service analytics tools using platforms likeLooker, Looker Studio, or equivalent BI tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to debugging data discrepancies
• Excellentcross-functional communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for business and finance stakeholders
• High degree ofownership, pragmatism, and a collaborative, team-first mindset in an agile setting

Nice to have

• Experience with Python for data automation
• Familiarity with SAP ERP modules
• Knowledge of modern data orchestration tools
• Prior experience in e-commerce or retail environments
