Title: FP&A Analyst
Location: Remote
Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $35/hr on W2 (All Inclusive)
Duration: 6+ Months (Potentially Extended)
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated FP&A professional with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. This role is part of the Corporate Finance team and will focus on balance sheet and cash flow forecasting, financial analysis, and decision support.The position reports to the Corporate Finance Director and requires the ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.
- Forecast and analyze areas including:
- Deferred Revenue
- Accounts Receivable
- Billings & Collections
- Interest Receivable
- Interest Income & Expense
- Leases
- Other assets and liabilities
- Prepare variance analysis, including:
- Actual vs. Forecast
- Current Forecast vs. Prior Forecast
- Partner with Accounting, Procurement, Treasury, Data Analytics, Operations Forecasting, and Technical Accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Use AI and automation tools to streamline recurring reporting and forecasting processes.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects to support business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and cycle time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of Accounting or Finance experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance concepts, particularly:
- Balance Sheet
- Cash Flow Statement
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage ambiguity.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible and willing to learn new processes and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NetSuite and/or Adaptive.
- Experience using AI and automation tools for FP&A, reporting, or forecasting.
- Experience or interest in Cybersecurity and/or SaaS.
