Senior ETL Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer opportunity with a healthcare organization seeking a hands-on data professional with strongSSIS, SQL Server, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and API integration experience. This role will focus on building, maintaining, and troubleshooting data pipelines that bring information from multiple source systems into a centralized data warehouse.

Candidates should have deep experience withMicrosoft SSIS and integrating data from databases, APIs, flat files, SFTP feeds, and other enterprise systems. Experience withhealthcare data, Azure Data Factory, KingswaySoft, or MicroStrategy/Strategy is preferred. The role can be worked remotely or in a hybrid capacity in Greenville, South Carolina.

This is a highly hands-on role within an established remote data and analytics team, with exposure to both traditional ETL environments and ongoing cloud modernization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimizeSSIS-based ETL pipelines
• Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources
• Support data feeds involving healthcare, claims, financial, and operational data
• Troubleshoot data loads, pipeline failures, and data quality issues
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, transformations, and supporting database objects
• Support data warehouse and BI/reporting environments
• Partner with technical and business teams on data integration requirements
• Document data flows, integrations, and technical solutions
• Support HIPAA, governance, and data security requirements

Requirements & Skills

• 5+ years of experience indata engineering, ETL development, data integration, or data warehousing
• Advanced experience withSSIS / SQL Server Integration Services
• StrongSQL Server and SQL development skills
• Experience building and troubleshootingETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience integrating data throughAPIs, flat files, SFTP, and databases
• Experience supportingenterprise data warehouses
• Healthcare or HIPAA-regulated environment experience strongly preferred
• Experience withAzure Data Factory, KingswaySoft, or MicroStrategy/Strategy is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
