Senior Engineer / V&V Lead

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM field.
• More than 8 years of experience in Verification and Validation.
• 3 years of experience leading V&V planning and architecture design.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High proficiency in Python test automation and API testing frameworks. Knowledge of PyTest and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Over the Air firmware update validation.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity testing and topics for connected products.
• Experience analyzing test results, logs, artifacts, and telemetry data to identify product defects and automation issues.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of TCP-IP, BACnet IP, Modbus, Zigbee.
• Background in Smart Building Automation or real estate IoT solutions.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443, OWASP.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead the verification and validation of a complete suite of products (sensors, gateway & solution).
• Translate functional, non-functional, performance, and cybersecurity requirements into comprehensive test specifications.
• Manage defect triage and root cause analysis with other team members.
• Create, prioritize, and communicate test plans.
• Architect and scale automated hardware in the loop when necessary.
• Implement CI/CD automated test pipelines.
• Ensure simulation tools are up-to-date and maintained.
• Execute tests.
• Follow the design process and deliver quality design documents on time.
