Location: WTC - NYC (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite)

About the Role

We are seeking an experiencedSenior Engineerwith a strong background in both low-code platforms and traditional server-side development. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong domain knowledge inasset and trade allocation processes, and able to develop scalable, high-performance solutions. This is a hybrid role based out of ourWorld Trade Center office in NYC, requiring4 days per week onsite and1 remote day.

Key Responsibilities

• Involved in technical design, architecture, and implementation of solutions across platforms includingMendix,Java/Python, andSQL.
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust, scalable designs.
• Good understanding of modernization andmigration/refactoring of legacy systems to modern architectures and frameworks.
• Ensure optimal use ofmulti-threading andconcurrency techniques to deliver high-performance server-side applications.
• Deliver quality code adhering to best practices & standards
• Design and optimize data models and queries forasset allocation and trade execution workflows.
• Maintain strong alignment with business needs and compliance requirements in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proficiency in:
  • No-Code/Low-Code platforms, particularlyMendix.
  • Java and/orPython for backend/server-side development.
  • SQL and relational database design/performance tuning.
• Experience in implementing solutions usingmulti-threading andconcurrency.
• Strong knowledge ofapplication migration, modernization, and codebase refactoring.
• Deep domain knowledge inasset allocation,trade allocation rules, andexecution processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in agile environments with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps integration.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with message queues, event-driven architectures, and microservices.
