Salary: $74,028/year
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
Primary Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Position Purpose
The Engagement & Performance Coordinator supports the SoonerSelect program by leading and coordinating stakeholder engagement, program training, contract performance documentation, and cross-functional communication. This position serves as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, including Contracted Entities (CEs), other state agencies, and community stakeholders. The role is responsible for promoting collaboration, tracking performance outcomes, maintaining internal process documentation, and supporting continuous improvement across SoonerSelect operations.
Essential Functions May Include:
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities such as roundtables, trainings, listening sessions, and public forums with internal and external partners.
- Track and report on performance indicators related to stakeholder engagement, program communications, issue resolution, and contract deliverables.
- Support the development and maintenance of outreach strategies, stakeholder feedback tools, SOPs, internal audits, and engagement tracking systems.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues and effective communication across all operational levels.
- Prepare communications, reports, CE memos, and training materials that align with agency policy and federal requirements.
- Maintain organized and audit-ready documentation of stakeholder interactions, SOPs, policy reviews, and CMS correspondence.
- Coordinate SoonerSelect Operations projects and implementations in alignment with TMO efforts and change management priorities.
- Serve as the internal point of contact for specialized tools, data dashboards, and ticketing systems, ensuring data is reported accurately and timely.
- Facilitate communication across departments to ensure consistency in messaging, workflows, and compliance-related updates.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competency Requirements
The Engagement & Performance Coordinator must have a strong understanding of Medicaid managed care operations, stakeholder engagement strategies, and performance monitoring. The role requires excellent skills in project coordination, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. The ability to develop training materials, maintain organized records, and track issue resolution is essential to ensuring effective program oversight. Success in this role is supported by the Korn Ferry competencies of Collaborates, to foster effective partnerships across internal and external stakeholders; Plans and Aligns, to manage competing priorities and meet program objectives; and Communicates Effectively, to deliver clear, professional messaging across diverse audiences.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of professional experience OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of professional experience for each year of the required education
Preferred Qualifications Include:
- Experience with Medicaid or managed care programs
- Experience facilitating trainings or large-scale stakeholder engagements
- Experience with project implementation, contract oversight, or policy analysis
- Familiarity with CMS regulations and state program audit requirements
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Work is typically performed in an office setting with climate-controlled settings and exposure to moderate noise levels. In the course of performing job duties, employees are required to speak, stand, walk, and reach with their hands and arms. This position requires extended periods of sitting and daily use of computers and phones. Employees must be willing to complete all job-related travel associated with this position. Being present at the office is an essential function of this position.
