We are now looking for a talentedSenior Electronics Engineer to join our Systems Engineering team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge RF and communications products.

The Role

You will play a key role in thedesign and development of advanced analogue and digital electronic systems.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with RF, software and firmware engineers to develop and deliver high-performance solutions for applications acrosstelecommunications, space, defence and high-altitude platforms.

You will take ownership of electronic designs fromconcept through to volume manufacture, using modern engineering tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Electronic Design & Development

• Design and developanalogue and digital electronic circuits, including mixed-signal systems
• Create signal conditioning circuits, filters, amplifiers, and power supply modules
• Develop digital systems usingmicroprocessors, ADCs, DACs, and associated logic
• Produce detailed specifications, perform simulation, and support component selection
• Capture schematics and define PCB requirements, including materials and stack-up

Systems Integration & Testing

• Work with interfaces such asPCIe, USB, Ethernet, CAN bus, I²C, and SPI
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and communication issues
• Performsystem-level integration, verification, and validation testing
• Prepare test specifications, reports, and reliability assessments

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate across hardware, software, firmware, and RF teams
• Participate in and leaddesign reviews to mitigate risks
• Support product introduction, fault diagnosis, and diagnostic processes
• Manage component obsolescence and recommend alternatives
• Stay up to date withemerging technologies and industry standards

Reliability & Performance

• • Conductthermal analysis, MTBF calculations, and tolerance analysis
  • Ensure designs meetperformance, cost, quality, and manufacturability targets

About You

You are a detail-oriented engineer with experience developing high-performance electronic systems in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

You will bring:

• A degree inElectronic Engineering or in relevant subject, or equivalent experience
• Strong experience inanalogue and digital circuit design at component level
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools (Altium Designer desirable)
• Familiarity withEMC/EMI design and testing principles
• Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analysers, and logic analysers

Desirable:

• Experience inRF or microwave electronics
• Knowledge of high-volume manufacturing and surface mount technologies
