Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

Job Summary:

• Lead technical design for projects from early concept to completion.
• Define project scopes and develop options for I&E systems.
• Ensure all I&E designs follow specifications, standards, policies, and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with refining, petrochemical, or equivalent manufacturing industry I&E systems.
• Strong expertise in I&E design and power system analysis.
• Proficiency in SKM and ETAP modeling software.
• In-depth knowledge of NEC, IEEE, API, and related standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Apply knowledge of NEC, IEEE, ANSI, NFPA, API, and NEMA standards in all projects.
• Review and approve construction documents to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Participate in Management of Change reviews for projects.
• Join constructability, P&ID, and project review meetings.
• Specify and support the purchase of I&E materials for projects.
• Use refinery power system models (SKM/ETAP) for studies and provide updates.
• Develop preventative maintenance plans for new equipment.
• Support construction and commissioning with technical and safety expertise.
• Recommend improvements to corporate I&E specifications based on industry experience.
• Serve as custodian for instrument specifications.
