The Senior Director, Community Impact and Development, reports to the Chief Property and Planning Officer and provides strategic leadership for Augusta National Golf Club’s (ANGC) community impact and development efforts, which are carried out corporately and through ANGC’s affiliated charitable organizations, Masters Tournament Foundation (MTF), a private foundation, and Masters Tournament Charities (MTC), a public charity. In collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), this leader establishes and executes a comprehensive strategic plan, defines long term goals and objectives, and delivers measurable results aligned with ANGC’s Mission, Core Values, and Strategic Pillars.

The Senior Director ensures an integrated approach to strengthening the communities where we live and serve. This includes advancing the development of the next generation of the workforce, improving neighborhoods through investments in the built environment, and expanding access to community spaces and resources.

This role oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs that address community needs and promote lasting positive change. The Senior Director manages resources, monitors progress against strategic priorities, and ensures initiatives achieve their intended outcomes.

Central to this role is cultivating and sustaining strong relationships across government agencies and officials (including educational systems), NGOs, individual and corporate donors, and nonprofits from grassroots to institutional scale. The Senior Director brings both breadth, engaging across the full community, and depth, serving as a trusted long-term partner to the organizations most central to our work. Through these relationships, the Senior Director aligns shared priorities, encourages collaboration, and advances ANGC’s commitment to meaningful community impact.

Because MTF and MTC are separate tax-exempt entities, the Senior Director also stewards their charitable purposes, ensuring that programs, partnerships, and expenditures align with each entity’s exempt purpose, governing documents, and board direction and comply with federal and state requirements and organizational best practices. This work is carried out in close partnership with Legal, Finance, Human Resources, and Golf Development.

This position is a full-time, on-site role in Augusta, GA.
