Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking aSenior DevOps Engineer to support Java-based multi-tier applications across hybrid cloud platforms. You will build and run CI/CD pipelines on OpenShift and Cloud Foundry, improve observability with Grafana and ELK and lead incident response and release management. You will partner with development, QA and operations teams to keep services stable, secure and available.

Responsibilities

• Support Java (J2EE/Spring Boot) applications by tracing request flows, analyzing logs and resolving production issues
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines on Cloud Foundry and OpenShift using Jenkins and Git-based workflows
• Implement infrastructure as code and automation to standardize environments and reduce manual work
• Deploy and operate containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes-based platforms
• Improve observability through monitoring, logging and alerting with Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager and ELK
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis and reliability engineering practices
• Drive release and change management including scheduling, coordination and risk-aware production changes
• Collaborate with distributed teams to adopt cloud-native practices and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Proven experience supporting production applications in hybrid cloud environments including on-prem plus OpenShift, Cloud Foundry or any Private Cloud experience
• Knowledge of Linux system administration, troubleshooting and networking fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, CircleCI or GitHub Actions and deployment strategies
• Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies including Docker and OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
• Scripting skills in Shell, Python or PowerShell to automate operational tasks
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch or AppDynamics
• Experience with public cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Version control proficiency with Git including branching and deployment workflows

Nice to have

• Experience with batch processing platforms or job scheduling tools
• Experience with security hardening and risk controls for production change management
• Experience tuning Java application performance in production environments
