About The Job:
- The Senior Developer ServiceNow will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions, leading development standards, and guiding junior developers.
- He participates in the design, development, and optimization of complex applications on the ServiceNow platform, across multiple modules including ITSM, SPM, CMDB, ITOM, and HRSD.
- The Senior developer ServiceNow reports to the Service Delivery Manager and collaborates with key stakeholders, including ServiceNow Product Owners, IT Operations, and Business IT Teams.
- A strong collaboration is required with all IT teams across Saint-Gobain (GDI and Business IT), including IT Leadership, Business Applications, Data Management and Analytics, Infrastructure and Operations, Network, IT Services/Technical Support/Help Desk, Cyber-Security, User Experience Design, IT Procurement, and IT Office.
- Design and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions using best practices and platform capabilities.
- Develop custom applications, integrations (REST/SOAP), UI policies, flows, and automations.
- Maintain platform performance and ensure compliance with governance models and security requirements.
- Partner with Client and product owners to translate business needs into robust configurations and scripts.
- Lead code reviews and mentor other developers.
- Support release planning.
- Stay current on ServiceNow innovations (Store apps, new versions).
- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development.
- Expert-level understanding of Glide, JavaScript, Flow Designer, and APIs.
- Hands-on with ITSM, CMDB, SPM, and optionally ITOM or HRSD.
- Experience in enterprise environments and Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Certifications: ServiceNow CSA (mandatory), CAD (preferred), ITSM/CMDB specialist certs (plus).
